Hannah Li is a New York–based illustrator exploring light, space, and subtle emotional tension in everyday life. Her work moves between representation and abstraction, using color, shape, and shifting levels of detail to build mood and atmosphere.

Born and raised in Changsha, China, Hannah later moved to the United States to study illustration at SCAD, where her work gradually shifted across different contexts and ways of seeing.

Shaped by this movement between cultures and places, her work spans editorial, publishing, and personal narratives, continuing to evolve through memory and observation.
